About

The game of golf has been incredibly good to me.  It has given me the opportunity to represent my home country of New Zealand, to pursue my academic endeavors at Iowa State University in the United States and has introduced me to genuine people that I now call family.  There’s no doubt that it is a tough profession, but it’s one that I wouldn’t give up for the world.

My hope is that this blog allows you to come along on the journey with me; to ride the roller-coaster of emotions that lurk within the game of golf.  I’ll provide you with insights, experiences and stories that I encounter while chasing my dream towards the pinnacle of the golfing world – the PGA Tour.

    Dear Nick,
Hows it going? I am a Junior golfer from Iowa. How was the Fiji International? I bet it was beautiful mate!! Good luck in South Korea, and PGA Tour China!!! Kick Ben An’s butt for me! Also what is next after Shinhan Donghue? Are you going to do Asian Tour Q School in Thailand? That would be very fun, Hua Hin is where most of the Asian Tour pros hang out lol. Did you meet any players that i would now at the Fiji, like Jazz, Ernie, Gavin, or Matthew Griffin? Anyway playing with Gagenjeet must have been fun because he won. Are you gonna visit Iowa again, you wont be used to bad weather after you have been in different countries. I hope Suzhou is fun mate and have you played Cape Kidnappers? It looks pure!! Also RIP Jarrod Lyle. Safe travels and good luck!!! 🙂

      Hi Will

Thanks for your note. The Fiji International was great – Natadola has some stunning views. I’ve just finished T4 at the Suzhou Open which was good. I have been lucky enough to play Cape Kidnappers a couple of times and it is magical – put it on your bucket list. I am planning to be back in Iowa in about a months time. Keep warm 😉. Cheers Nick

Well done. Your trip to China was amazing. Securing a web.com card with only 5 starts……incredible.
    All the best.
